This account provides a list of poets that have been voted in as the best by deviants. There are no affiliations, and no other purposes to this account. Votes are done by way of comments on this page which are then tallied. No other way of voting, such as by note, is counted.

This wasn't a waste of time, because it took a maximum of 3 hours of time to set this up until the final list. The " a-list" was simple called an a-list as an ad hoc measure, it actually wasn't meant to come across as a list that seperates some deviants from others.
The idea came from the desire to network good artists to the community. The creator(s) of :devpoetrylist have a very good idea of who DA's really good artists are, and actually one or two of them are on the "a-list". And that makes it all worth while. As long as the community gets to appreciate the talents of some of DA's great writers, ~ poetrylist accomplishes its purpose, as that is its sole purpose: to compile a list of artists based on the community's votes and allow for greater networking of the talent here.
There was one or two artists who abused the voting style in the system and though I won't mention them, if you look at the votes on the list it is pretty obvious who he/she/they are.
One last thing:
i respect the idea. it was a good idea wasn't it? yes, partly a good idea i think.
do we agree with ourselves most of the time if we really think and research things. i'm really confused. i am really confused.
